Crypto Treasuries are diversifying towards alts and NFTs.
I've personally spoken to a few institutions and its an ongoing effort.
Today, most of these are yield-seeking investors. But, there are new entrants that are strategic in nature.
Strategics want access to ecosystems that may benefit them in the future.
The new Corporate Strategic Treasury strategies are inside of companies that understand they can't be left behind if their industry turns to Web3. Its a hedge, but its a big one when you consider what they're hedging.
If you're a big studio in an industry that is copy/pasting old brands out of existence, you're looking for an edge on your competition.
Where is the edge? Original brands with existing audience. This is an exceptionally scarce thing in the entertainment biz.
These studios invest $150m+ to bring a show, movie or game to market. And they do that multiple times a year. Netflix spent over $16b in 2024. Disney spent over $23b in the same year.
If you were going to hedge that book of business, access into the scarcest and most valuable parts of your own industry is very valuable.
And, before they buy, they'll do their diligence:
-Is the brand strong enough for the regular consumer?
-Has this brand been above board since launch?
-Has their PR been professional?
-Is this a brand that has stood the test of time?
I can only think of a few that tick all the boxes and align appropriately to the strategy.

We are an entire entertainment studio, spanning over 100 people, building the first Web-3 native digital franchise.

When you add it all up, there are over 100 people actively working on Claynosaurz at any point in time.
Core Team: Around 45 people (25 full-time, 20 part-time) across creative, marketing, and product divisions, plus leadership, finance, and operations.
Third Parties & Partners: To go further (and faster), we partner with external experts:
Creative: Different studios for 3D production (directed by our in-house talent) and Mediawan co-producing our TV show.
Marketing: Agencies for licensing & merchandising and YouTube growth.
Product: Dedicated dev team with 7 bodies (prev. had a fragmented approach, so this is new and should accelerate many developments); and, crucially, Gameloft’s 40+ person mobile game team dedicated to Clayno.
At any given time, well over a hundred people are moving the vision forward together.

There’s a shift happening in plain sight. We’re watching two worlds run on separate tracks.
On one side, you have NFTs priced out of discovery. Premium markets where entry points feel insurmountable, where the UI is clunky, and where "collectors" means a very narrow group of people who already figured out the maze. It's not sustainable, and frankly, it's not reaching the audience that should be engaging with this technology.
On the other side, you have millions of people already collecting, trading, and obsessing over digital items every single day. They're just doing it in gaming environments where the experience is seamless, intuitive, and built around actual utility and enjoyment rather than speculation.
The gap between these two worlds isn't technological. NFTs are the underpinning technology that can serve both. The gap is experiential. It's in how we present, price, and distribute these assets across the entire demand curve.
What we're building toward isn't about convincing traditional collectors to try gaming, or convincing gamers to become NFT collectors. It's about recognizing that collecting is collecting, regardless of the environment. The technology exists to make digital collectibles accessible, discoverable, and valuable across every price point and every platform.
The future isn't about choosing sides between premium collectibles and gaming assets. It's about building the infrastructure that lets these markets speak to each other, where someone can start their collecting journey at any level and grow with genuine discovery and engagement.

We've known Kael for some time now, and what he's built with Nobody Sausage is nothing less than impressive. A single artist, doing what they love, and conveying that into a massive social media brand.

We built our collections to be programmatic not just for the obvious marketability - this where the mind goes first - but because it introduces a ton of scalability and strong collector economics.
@Claynosaurz herds and Popkins pods are sets of up to 9 characters that come together cohesively around their traits. The individual NFTs are fractionalized relative to the whole set.
This means:
1. A collection of 25k is really closer to 2.8k sets.
2. A set is harder to collect than just buying an individual collectible. The thrill of the hunt still exists in an online environment where collecting can sometimes be as easy as just clicking “buy”.
3. Each set is more valuable than the sum of its parts. Collectors capture value.
Ultimately, collectors get to enjoy their own journey of discovery and acquisition that can take time.
The result is an experience that collectors come back for, a collection that is far more scarce than appears, and real value for those that are truly fans.
