You angry or inspired? The downfall of most designers on social media is anger. People get angry of others success and lead with attacks instead of inspiration which turn into full on hate. Hate fuels social media engagement. Then you end up in an endless circle hateful friends, followers, clients, and community. That’s not what you need. Instead of anger you wanted to be inspired, rallied around by inspiring friends. Inspiration means more hard work though which seems too…hard. Like going to the gym to workout, you know you need it but it’s not as easy as not going. But you gotta try not to let the anger mask your desire for inspiration. See others doing cool design work? Instead of being angry it’s not you, be inspired that it could be you. See someone with a lot of followers and positive energy? Don’t get angry it’s not you. Understand that could be you too. See someone making lots of money? Let it inspire you on what’s possible with hard work and some luck. The easiest route is anger. But all anger does is keep you from your true goals. And having other angry people around will only keep you down as well. Anger can be good. Be angry at yourself for not trying, but don’t let the anger get intense every day. Let that anger mentality switch to inspiration and you’ll finally see there was nothing to be angry about expect for letting all of it destroy your true potential by ignoring the potential inspiration that’s been right in front of you. You can do amazing things if you let yourself. Don’t let your anger, or others, keep things from you.
