Payments today are broken in a simple but fundamental way: they are static. When you tap your card or send a transfer, the system only does one thing—move money from A to B (oversimplifying, but in a nutshell). It cannot split that payment, stream it over time, swap it into another currency, or interact with other services like lending or savings. Every extra step requires a chain of middlemen, each adding cost, friction, and delay. Settlement becomes a patchwork of reconciliations, not a programmable process.
BRRR introduces an Open Settlement Layer that redefines what a payment can be. Instead of a “yes/no” transfer, one authorization can trigger a programmable flow of actions across chains and services. BRRR separates authorization, settlement, and reconciliation—so once a payment is approved, it can call smart contracts, swap assets, reconcile balances across networks, or even trigger off-chain services. In short, BRRR makes settlement an open canvas for financial logic.
This unlocks powerful new use cases:
• Salary streaming – instead of being paid every two weeks, BRRR allows wages to be streamed per second, giving workers instant access to their earnings.
• Cross-border remittances – money sent home can clear instantly across networks, without slow intermediaries or high fees.
• On-chain FX – foreign exchange can operate 24/7/365, with service providers reconciling in real time rather than relying on closed, costly markets.
• DeFi-native savings – payments can auto-pull yield from staking, restaking, or lending positions, so your balance earns while it spends.
• RWA integration – tokenized real estate, debt, or other assets can be embedded into settlement flows, turning mortgages, advances, or credit lines into programmable, liquid instruments.
• Delegated balances – service providers can swap or lend BRRR balances directly between themselves, creating a trustless liquidity network underpinned by settlement guarantees.
What's really cool is that these are just some of the use cases we have in mind. What's even cooler is that we already partner with a lot of most exciting and amazing projects across these use cases to really supercharge how payments can work
