My little guy - the youngest 2nd grader in his grade - just made the 3rd grade basketball team, and I couldn’t be prouder. All summer, we practiced together every single day. I’m really not pushing him towards the NBA (even though, in my totally unbiased opinion, he’s the best). It’s about showing him what it takes to be great at something - the work, the focus, the consistency. Bc I know, once you know that formula, you can apply it to anything in life.
