Mirror 404: Machine vision cannot process mirrors or reflections, computers were not designed to perceive themselves. So we find that our oldest technology for self-perception is not recognised by our newest. These pointcloud scans engage directly with that limitation and the mirror becomes a reminder of what artificial vision cannot grasp: our capacity to see ourselves.
